Green Beans
What you will need:
1 package of Hormel salt pork
¾ cup chicken broth
½ onion
2 to 3 lbs. green beans

How to prepare:
Dice salt pork into small pieces, Put in Dutch oven or heavy pot to render down. Then add green beans stirring to wilt beans. Add chicken broth and onion. Cover on low to med heat for 30 / 45 minutes.



ONION RINGS

What you will need;
2 Large to Medium size sweet onions
Flour
Seasoning Salt
Oil for deep frying

How to prepare:

Slice onions in thin slices and separate into rings, lay out on baking sheet and sprinkle with seasoning salt, put seasoned rings into a plastic bag with flour and seal bag and shake until rings are covered, take out of bag and place in hot oil, do not crowd pan, will have to cook in small portions. Fry until golden brown, take out and place on paper towel to soak up excess oil.
Eat hot with ketchup or chili dip, Great tailgate dish

CHEESY POTATOES

What you will need

2 lbs new red potatoes
1 Green pepper
Veletta Cheese cubed, about 1/4 lb.
Olive Oil
Grill seasoning
2 TBSP butter
foil

How to prepare:

Take potatoes and halve, if large then you may need to quarter, make a foil pouch and place potatoes in middle pour olive oil over top and then season with grill seasoning, toss with hands to evenly coat potatoes, cut green pepper and clean out seeds and ribs, cut into large bite size pieces place on top of potatoes. Dot potatoes with butter, fold up foil to seal tight. Place on hot grill and turn about every 10 minutes to prevent burning, when potatoes have cooked for approx. 20 to 30 minutes- open foil and place cheese that has been cut into small pieces all over potatoes. cover back up remove from grill and cheese will continue to melt.  Serve nice and hot and cheesy Great made in the oven also.
